Tafiti, which means “do research” in Swahili, is an experimental search front-end from Microsoft, designed to help people use the Web for research projects that span multiple search queries and sessions by helping visualize, store, and share research results. Tafiti uses both Microsoft Silverlight and Live Search to explore the intersection of richer experiences on the Web and the increasing specialization of search.

Switiching to Yahoo Mail become much more easier

Posted by Siddharth 22 August, 2007 (1) Comment

switiching-to-yahoo-mail-become-much-more-easier

Although Switching to Yahoo Mail from other mail service like gmail etc was a headache(atleast for me) but now since Yahoo! has a partnernered with a company called TrueSwitch which is used to transfer emails, calendar info, and contacts from one account to another. So for no additional costs you can switch to Yahoo! Mail from any of these providers: Hotmail, AOL, Gmail, Comcast, Yahoo!, Cox, Earthlink, MSN, Netscape, Netzero, Juno, CS, Optonline, and Worldnet.
Demo:-

Also, it appears that Yahoo! Mail has upped their attachment size limitation to 20MB, thereby matching what Google offers. They’re even adding 24-hour mail support via IM, as well as a few other things. Yahoo! might be on a roll here.
